ATTITUDE
Today’s Scripture: Ephesians 4:21-23 [NLT] “Since you have heard about Jesus and have learned the truth that comes from Him, 22 throw off your old sinful nature and your former way of life, which is corrupted by lust and deception. 23 Instead, let the Spirit renew your thoughts and attitudes.”
What is your attitude like as you have entered this new year? Are you bringing an attitude of expectation or an attitude of “this year will probably be like last year, not very good.” The Bible has much to say about our attitude. Attitude affects every facet of your life. Medical science has proven it affects your health. Attitude affects your relationships. Attitude affects your job performance and pay. Attitude affects your spirit, soul, and body. An anonymous quote, “A bad attitude is like a flat tire. You won’t get anywhere until you change it.” Change your attitude and go where God wants you to go in 2025.

Scripture
Romans 15:5 [TLB] “May God who gives patience, steadiness, and encouragement help you to live in complete harmony with each other-each with the attitude of Christ toward the other.”
Confession: Thank You, God, for giving me patience, steadiness (endurance), and encouragement. My attitude towards others is one of unity and harmony. My attitude towards people will be the same attitude Jesus has towards me; to love, forgive, and believe the best.
Philippians 2:5-7 [GNT] “The attitude you should have is the one that Christ Jesus had: 6 He always had the nature of God, but He did not think that by force He should try to remain equal with God. 7 Instead of this, of His own free will He gave up all He had and took the nature of a servant.”
Confession: I confess that my attitude is the same one that Jesus Christ has. In humility I will position myself, as Jesus did, to be a servant to others and have a servant’s heart. I will walk in humility towards others, I will have the nature of a servant, and my attitude will be like my Savior, Jesus Christ.
1 Thessalonians 5:16-18 [NLT] “Always be joyful. 17 Never stop praying. 18 Be thankful in all circumstances, for this is God's will for you who belong to Christ Jesus.”
Confession: My attitude will be one of joy on a continual basis. I will always position my heart to be ready to pray. I choose to be thankful and give thanks in every and any circumstance of life. I will be obedient to God’s will, His pleasing and perfect will for my life. My attitude is Christ-like.

Prayer
Father, I praise You today for helping me to walk in humility of heart and mind and to have the attitude of Jesus. Forgive me of where I have fallen short when my attitude has not reflected the Kingdom of God. I ask You to let the Spirit renew my thoughts and attitudes. May my attitude always be godly and may my attitude always reflect Your Son, Jesus. In the Name of Jesus I pray, amen.
