FINANCIALLY
Today’s Scripture: Luke 16:10-13 [TEV] “Whoever is faithful in small matters will be faithful in large ones; whoever is dishonest in small matters will be dishonest in large ones. 11 If then, you have not been faithful in handling worldly wealth, how can you be trusted with true wealth? 12 And if you have not been faithful with what belongs to someone else, who will give you what belongs to you? 13 No servant can be the slave of two masters; he will hate one and love the other; he will be loyal to one and despise the other. You cannot serve both God and money.”
The subject of money, i.e. managing it, having it, spending it, saving it, sharing it, giving it, is always a topic that brings about points of discussion as well as arguments. Stewardship and how we manage the money that God gives us makes an incredible impact on others. In the Bible, we are encouraged to give monetarily. In the New Year of 2025, ask God to bring clarity to how you are managing well or mismanaging the finances that He has entrusted you with. I believe God wants His people to be prosperous. But I also know that He wants us to be good stewards, because it reflects upon the Kingdom of God. Be wise in how you steward your finances. It has a great bearing on our heavenly Father trusting us with more.

Scripture
Deuteronomy 8:18 [AMP] “But you shall [earnestly] remember the Lord your God, for it is He Who gives you power to get wealth, that He may establish His covenant which He swore to your fathers, as it is this day.”
Confession: I am grateful that I have wisdom and knowledge from God, and He give me plans and insight to increase what He has given me financially. As a good steward, I am able to help in establishing God’s covenant by supporting the Gospel of Jesus Christ through which people are born again.
Proverbs 3:9-10 [ESV] “Honor the Lord with your wealth and with the firstfruits of all your produce; 10 then your barns will be filled with plenty, and your vats will be bursting with wine.”
Confession: As a good steward of what God has given me, I choose to honor the Lord with returning His tithe to the church, giving offerings, and special offerings when the occasion is presented to me. I am believing for increase, so that I can do more than I presently do.
Proverbs 11:25 [TLB] “The generous will prosper; those who refresh others will themselves be refreshed.”
Confession: As a good steward of what God has given me, I choose to be generous. Generosity is a characteristic of God. He was generous when He gave Jesus as the sacrifice for my sins. As I help others who are in need, I in turn will be helped when needed. I will prosper so I can continue to be generous.

Prayer
Father, I pray that as I grow in my faith and in my relationship with You that You will be able to trust me with more. I desire to love You more than anything or anyone. Help me to be a good steward of finances so that from my generosity I will see people’s lives changed and enriched by Jesus and Your Word. Thank You for trusting me with more finances in 2025. I pray that I continue to be faithful and trustworthy in the area of finances. In the Name of Jesus I pray, amen.
