SPIRITUALLY
Today’s Scripture: 1 Peter 1:3 [NLT] “All praise to God, the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ. It is by His great mercy that we have been born again, because God raised Jesus Christ from the dead. Now we live with great expectation…”
“Now we live with a great expectation” should be our mantra for 2025 concerning our spiritual growth in Christ. We must move from being born again (the initial transformation of our spirit) to continually growing in Christ. We must move from being a student to becoming a disciple of Christ. There are so many factors that can give us a “boost” in our relationship with God. Read books from authors that have keen spiritual insight into the growth process of a Christian. Seek out and find people who have a depth in their prayer life that can teach you to pray with boldness and a sensitivity to the Holy Spirit. Do you desire for God to do something new in you concerning your present spiritual condition? Ask God to spiritually grow you as His Son and/or Daughter. Ask…and you will receive.
Scripture
2 Peter 3:18 [GNT] “But continue to grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.”
Confession: I will grow in my relationship with my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ in 2025. I will learn more about His grace and how it impacts my spiritual being. I will become more knowledgeable about Jesus as my Lord and Savior.
1 Peter 2:2 [NLT] “Like newborn babies, you must crave pure spiritual milk so that you will grow into a full experience of salvation. Cry out for this nourishment…”
Confession: I will hunger and thirst for righteousness in 2025. I will crave, desire, and want the pure, unadulterated Word of God that will spiritually grow me into the full experience of my salvation. I will cry out, seek, and worship my God for this spiritual nourishment.
Colossians 1:9-10 [NLT] “So, we have not stopped praying for you since we first heard about you. We ask God to give you complete knowledge of His will and to give you spiritual wisdom and understanding. 10 Then the way you live will always honor and please the Lord, and your lives will produce every kind of good fruit. All the while, you will grow as you learn to know God better and better.”
Confession: As I pray for myself and people pray for me in 2025, I confess that my heavenly Father will give me complete knowledge of His will and He will give me spiritual wisdom and understanding. My life will honor and please the Lord and my life will produce every kind of good fruit. I will grow spiritually as I learn to know God better and better.
Prayer
Father, thank You for helping me grow spiritually in 2025. Thank You for this new beginning concerning my spiritual life. I confess and believe that I will be spiritually stronger this year than any previous year of my life in Christ. Because I am spiritually stronger this year, my life will produce every kind of good fruit. I thank You for new opportunities, new relationships, and fresh revelation that will produce spiritual growth in my life. In the Name of Jesus I pray, amen.
