SATURDAY, JANUARY 13th

Praying for the PEOPLE of Covenant Life Church in the New Year.

Revelation 7:9-10 [ETRV] “Then I looked, and there was a large crowd of people. There were so many people that no one could count them all. They were from every nation, tribe, race of people, and language of the earth. They were standing before the throne and before the Lamb. They all wore white robes and had palm branches in their hands. 10 They shouted loudly, ‘Victory belongs to our God, who sits on the throne, and to the Lamb.’”

THOUGHT for TODAY:

Covenant Life is a church for ALL people. It is to be multi-ethnic, multi-cultural, and multi-generational. It is to be an Abraham-Isaac-Jacob-Joseph church. One church for all people groups. No generation gaps. No ethnicities exalted or shunned. People who are searching for God, people who are lost, people who have found God, people who know God, they are all welcomed. People worshipping God. People serving people. People loving people. People preferring others before themselves. People praying for people. Covenant Life Church is to look like heaven, which is of every nation, tribe, race of people, and language of the earth. Praise the Lord!

Prayer

Father, thank You for the vision of Covenant Life to be a church that is reflective of all people groups. I ask You to bring all people from the north, south, east, and the west to become a part of this body of Christ. Remove barriers, ideologies, stigmas, false perceptions, and any beliefs that would hinder anyone from coming to our church. May people see others who look like them when they enter our church. May we truly be a church that reflects heaven. I will embrace all people and grow from the richness of others who are not like me. This is the will of God. I ask for Your strength and blessing in the name of Jesus, amen!
