Have you ever wondered about the Trinity being in unified relationship with each other? And if we were MADE in Their Image, aren't we then supposed to be in a unified relationship too? 

 

Adam, Eve and God living with no barrier between them. Then sin came into the world and instantly destroyed the ability to be in unified relationship. 

 

Do you think there may be a reason why Paul calls for unity so often throughout his letters? 

 

I'd put it forward that this is probably the hardest aspect of Christianity, living in unity within the Body, as singles and as husbands and wives and in unity with God.

 

I believe it is one of, if not the single highest call we have as Christians, to live in unified right relationship with God and each other within the Body of Christ. 

 

This is what all of Satan's schemes are focused on in one way or another, to destroy relationships, to put up or keep up barriers, to create distrust and shame, to keep us from uniting with God, our wives, and the Body of Christ.

 

Guys! we've seen it over and over how the enemy keeps men from coming to this specific post. This is no joke, and I'm not exaggerating, last encounter only 3 men showed up in person and one person on zoom! 4 men out of the whole group were able to make it! The enemy works overtime to keep you from this specific post. 

 

Ask yourselves, "why?!" 

 

Why is it ALWAYS so hard for the leaders to find teachers and a testimony for this post? 

 

Is there something keeping us from stepping up into this area of our lives that we are called to?

 

This isn't said to shame anyone or said out of judgment, this is said out of love for you. We truly want you to know and understand the schemes of the enemy and what he wants to keep you away from.

 

The Ten Commandments are all about right and unified relationship, did you realize that? The Old Testament is the story of humanity's relationship with God and how He constantly pursues unified relationship, but we keep messing it up through sin. The Gospel is God's plan to make a way for us to live in unified relationship with Him through His Son. The Epistles call for Unity within the Body of Christ over and over and Unity within marriage. The culmination of the beatitudes in Matt. 5 says blessed are the peacemakers for they will be called the sons of God. A peacemaker is someone who brings unity and rightness back into relationships, they are called sons of God. THE SON OF GOD is the ultimate PEACEMAKER bringing unity and rightness back into our relationship with God. The entire Bible is about relationship!

 

Guys, I challenge you to be there tomorrow night. Single, dating, engaged, married... it doesn't matter because we are all called to unity and right relationship, not only with our significant others, but with each other and especially with God. So, there will be something for each one of us. 

 

We have Larry and his wife giving the testimony tomorrow, with me giving the teaching for the singles and Stan and his wife giving the teaching for the couples. Regardless of how many shows up tomorrow night, it is going to be an awesome night of testimony and teaching. You won't want to miss it. Let's continue strong in these together men!
